Players stand in a circle holding hands. On "go," everyone tries to tag the person to their right while avoiding being tagged by the person to their left.
Have everyone stand in a circle, spaced about arm's length apart.
Each person extends their LEFT hand palm-up to the person on their left.
Each person places their RIGHT index finger on the palm of the person to their right.
On the count of three (or a trigger word), everyone simultaneously tries to: GRAB the finger on their left palm AND PULL their right finger away before it gets grabbed.
Anyone who gets their finger caught is "out" (or just play for fun without elimination).
Practice the hand position first before the actual game.
Use a story or sentence where one keyword triggers the grab (e.g., say "buzz" randomly in a story).
Play multiple rounds — it's quick and addictive.
Story Version: Read a story and embed a trigger word. Players must grab when they hear it.
Double Grab: Both hands are in play at once.
Players sit in a circle with one less chair than people. The person in the middle calls out a characteristic, and everyone matching it must find a new seat.
Players take turns picking up a paper bag from the ground using only their teeth. After each round, the bag gets shorter!
A life-size version of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Two teams face off, each choosing to be Giants, Wizards, or Elves.
